Pastors Duarte host IHP ministry gatherings in Laredo, Texas periodically as God leads
Pastors Ruben and Lamar Duarte---born and raised in Laredo and currently residing in San Antonio, Texas---have been led of the Lord to host IHP ministry gatherings in Laredo. We anticipate a wonderful atmosphere of God's presence through worship, sharing the Word, prayer, fellowship, and including refreshments. As God leads, we will continue to host such gatherings. The Duartes allow for an atmosphere which touches the hearts of the people gathered. They take time to pray for individuals who may have challenging needs in their lives. The pastors feel that there is no situation too serious or complicated which God cannot embrace. Pastor Ruben shares, “I realize that we, as individuals, don’t have all the answers for life’s tough issues---but we serve God who Himself IS the Answer. Duarte recounts a Scripture passage in which Jesus invites, “Come unto Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
“God is approachable, gracious, patient, and amazing,” says Ruben. "We look forward to meeting together for a time of celebrating God’s greatness and see what He will do.”
