A great and effectual door has opened for you, says the Lord. It is a door that has opened up for this new year where you will step through without effort. The door is not opening from your side where you would need to handle the knob---but it is opening from My side---as I blow the breath of My Spirit, says God.
It will cause you to rise to new heights like the eagle and be able to see with eagle eyes down below not only for the prey which will serve as your sustenance, but also to see with eagle vision those who have fallen prey and become prey to the schemes of the enemy. Just as you will swoop down to take the provided prey for your sustenance, you will also swoop down to rescue those who have become prey to the enemy. For in this year of 20-20 high definition vision your assignments will be all about divine provision and divine rescue for the victims of life and the enemy. Go forth with confidence, with focus, and with divine resolve. ABIDING---when it comes to God---is all about honorably waiting on Him without the demand for answers or demonstrations of power. There is a richness in God’s presence which creates a closeness that cannot be measured logistically. It is like a family gathering together for Thanksgiving. Beyond the meals, the snacks, the conversations, and the football games on television, it is about loved ones appreciating just ABIDING together.
I remember sitting at my piano at home, worshiping the Lord for an extended time and, as I prepared to conclude my heartfelt musical devotion, i heard somewhere in my spirit the Lord sovereignly whisper: 'Don't stop.' Could it be that far more than the need for us to ABIDE in God is the passion of the Lord Himself who is deeply wanting to ABIDE with us and in us? The very notion that God Almighty Himself---who has the universe and all of creation at His disposal---would desire for us to ABIDE in Him, is a great MYSTERY. This is also at the very foundation our life’s ministry---to intentionally ABIDE in Him. "Abide in Me and I in you As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it ABIDES in the vine, neither can you unless you ABIDE in Me." (John 15:4) “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall ABIDE under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1) In My kingdom, every fall which happens to My beloved, is ultimately meant to be a FALL FORWARD. For if you will trust Me through the stumble, I will personally be there to pick you up, shake off the dust, heal up the wounds, and send you forward into My kingdom purposes. You may question that outcome as you consider the length and the depth of your falls. However, I consider the strength and the heights of your resilience to bounce back up, be restored, become reignited, and use the very scars you bear to give you the significant parameters for your future.
I am saddened by those who give up on themselves because they tragically underestimate the mercy, the grace, and the forgiveness which is found within the expanse of My heart. The FALLS will undoubtedly happen. They are a part of the human experience. However, the glorious, divine recovery is why I AM God and you are not. Become part of the culture of My kingdom experience and grow in it. Thus, when the FALLS of life happen, you will actually FALL FORWARD, regain your footing, be restored to wholeness, be released in greatness, and become the trophy of My grace which I designed for you to be. Perhaps you have said, “That’s all that I needed. Just one more thing that I needed to have to chase after, to have to accomplish.”
I sense the Spirit of the Lord responding, “All you’ve ever needed, son, daughter, is found in that secret place which I have created exclusively for you. You have read in the Scriptures, ‘He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty’. “This is that secret place that I set apart for you,’ says the Lord, ‘It’s a place not of escape. On the contrary, it’s a place of encounter.’ ‘What do I encounter, Lord?’ “You encounter Me,’ says God. ‘You encounter everything I represent, all the storehouse of heaven and all that you could ever desire and all that you could ever need, even for the those times when you exasperatingly cry out, “That’s just one more thing I needed!” ‘Let me tell you the one more thing you need. You need Me. You need to focus on Me and Me alone. This is where your answer is found. Don’t go out to the public square, to the arenas. Don’t run to the church, even though the church is a wonderful place that I have sanctioned for the saints to gather together. But don’t make the church your secret refuge. Make Me your secret refuge, and you will be found of Me.” ‘For in the days ahead,’ says God, ‘I’m going to release wisdom and strategies for you to walk through that place that you have exasperatingly said, ‘Just one more thing that I needed to go wrong’, “There’s one thing that has gone right in your life,’ says the Lord, ‘Christ in you, the hope of glory, this is how I share My secrets with those who have been bought with the price---the Blood of My only begotten Son Jesus. So, if you’re ready to do business with Me, I’m ready to do Kingdom business with you. Lift up your heart right now and say ‘Jesus, I’m ready to do it Your way. I’m ready to take the higher road, and I realize today that that higher road is a road less traveled. There’s not many that want to go through it. They want to take the easy road---but as for me, Lord, I will take the higher road---the road less traveled, where You are found in the SECRET PLACE. I choose, God, to go there with You.” Alchemy: (def.) 1. The process of taking something ordinary and turning it into something extraordinary, sometimes in a way that cannot be explained. 2. A science aimed at transforming base metals into gold.
Recently, I heard in my spirit this word, "Alchemy". I had no idea what it meant, but when I researched the definition outlined above, I heard this prophetic word in my spirit: “Since the day I deposited you upon this world, I have been dedicated to transforming everything within you, from the baser metallic content of your talents and gifts into golden jewelry fit for adorning My kingdom. Of all the afflictions plaguing humanity, by far the worst is the disease of a life headed into eternal perdition. I have the cure for that---the finished work of My Son on the cross of Calvary. Through My Son’s complete work on earth, I have released prolonged, eternal life to whosoever will call upon Jesus’ Name and yield their heart and life to Him. I have commissioned you to live the transformed life---impressing the world around you in an undeniable way and drawing others, by your example, unto My throne of grace. Your transformation into My kingdom life can be chronicled by testimonies of events and dates, but it can never, ever be truly explained. Your salvation is a mystery to all around you and you wear My glory as a coat of many colors. As you join yourself with others who make up the family of My kingdom believers, you help transform one another like a pile of vegetables gloriously tossed together to become a delicious salad of My saving grace. This is the DIVINE ALCHEMY of what I accomplish when a company of nobodies join themselves together with the Great Somebody---Jesus Christ Your Lord. Your life is not pieced together in random clips and cut-out pictures, all cleverly glued together to form one story-telling montage. I have constructed your life in books, volumes, chapters, and pages.
That which you now know as Holy Bible all began that way. I dictated the volumes of life, mankind agreed or disagreed with My inspiration, and I continually work with what mankind gives Me. For the very worst of humanity, I propose chapters to transform and create the very best. For the very best, I create chapters of celebration and promotion. For every created being, I establish volumes which chronicle the toughest cases into the biggest victories. Thus, for you this day, I say to you, 'START A PAGE'. As you chronicle your dreams, your challenges, your victories, your fears, and all else which concerns you, I WILL PLACE MYSELF IN CHARGE OF TRANSFORMING YOUR PAGE INTO A PAGEANTRY WHICH SHOWCASES ALL MY LOVE AND COMMITMENT TO YOU. Don't sweat the details. Just commit to the first step and let Me lead you through the 'journaling journey' of your life. Let's partner in making some amazing history together. “And (Jesus) said to (Mary and Joseph), ‘Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?’ But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them.” (Luke 2:49-50)
Rarely, if ever, does a parent fully understand or readily embrace the calling and destiny that is upon their children’s lives during their young and developing years. Parents can begin to identify the talents and tendencies, but how and when those giftings unfold is a whole other ‘God-matter’ altogether. If Mary had understood what this ‘Father’s business’ would lead to just 21 years later in Jesus’ life, realizing that her Son would be brutally beaten and left hanging on a cross to die, she may have protectively done everything in her power to derail the destiny lined out for Jesus. Who could have blamed her? God sovereignly unfolds our lives so that we are given every opportunity to unpack, explore, apply, and ultimately fulfill the plans He has for us. The price of that fulfillment is always high. The scars are always deeply embedded and ever present. The rewards and end-results, however, are ALWAYS magnificent and ABSOLUTELY worth the journey. So, may we never shun from fulfilling ‘Father’s business’. It is always much higher than the ‘carpentry business’ of our earthly fathers---as exemplified in Joseph's life. Ultimately, it reaps the glorious fruit which we can gladly transport to heaven with us---which consists of redeemed souls, transformed lives, destinies fulfilled, and eternal bliss with Almighty God forevermore. Have you considered the way of the Waymaker? Have you come to realize that someone had to dig a trench which would leave an absolute trail to follow to get to a goal called Calvary? As that rugged, oversized, crude cross was dragged across a crowded street filled with onlookers who were shocked, mockers who gawked, followers who trembled in fear of being identified with Him, and one who was summoned to assist in the torturous trailblazing towards the crucifixion---it took Jesus, who was called to be the holy plowman, who would dig the trench---thus creating a way, The Way to Calvary. So, this is our Waymaker.
The trench which was created led much further than Calvary---for the Way which Jesus Christ created opened up a holy highway of righteousness and salvation for all of humanity. The Waymaker created a superhighway called the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We have taken more than enough wrong turns in life. It's time to get on and stay on the highway forged for us by the Waymaker Himself---Jesus Christ. Hold tightly to the 'steering wheel' until the palms of your hands become imprinted with its emblem, "Holy Bible". It will get you where you want to go. You have heard it said that you can't be all things to all people, but I say to you---BE all things. To the one who weeps, mourn with them---to the one who laughs, rejoice with them---to the one who struggles, endure with them---to the one who resists, just walk with them. As you walk by their side, without judging or condemning, you create a mirror for them, not of what they SHOULD look like, but of what I created them to BE like. Even in your own imperfections, you will demonstrate persistence to achieve. Even in your own discouragements, you will demonstrate trust which defies circumstances. Especially in your own triumphs, you will demonstrate full expression of your gratitude unto Me.
So, as ALL PEOPLE look at you throughout ALL OF YOUR LIFE'S JOURNEYS, they will see and identify themselves with you---and in doing so they will feel safe to wholeheartedly identify with ME. After all, isn't that really why I created you---so that I can be within you and throughout you "Christ in you the hope of glory" to all the world around you ? (Colossians 1:26-27) May I make your life a God-assignment---one continual open-ended link to Divine appointments which connect strategically to each moment and movement of your daily life? Could you keep your heart open and your reputation so fluid that, at a moment's notice, I can tap on your shoulder and dispatch you into a situation which will alter circumstances and trigger God-sized destinies into motion?
I am looking for a few who look just like you---bold, broken, grateful, humble, and fierce in their faith. Those who trust in Me whole-heartedly. Let's run together. This is what Kingdom glory looks like---and it looks great on you. |
